Donkey Trail Walk The Donkey Society of Queensland
Our first Donkey Society of Qld. Trail Walk took place June 12th 2011 Brisbane Valley Rail Trail...... Lowood To Fernvale It was a little chilly and at times WET! But all donkeys and walkers made the 8 kilometer trip. I took Willow and Bracken my geldings, who walked 7 kms very, very slowly and when the rain got heavy Willow refused to move and Bracken lay down in the mud ! I called for the troops and with a lot of support we got them to the end of the trail. It was decided that my donkeys prefered the comfort of a warm dry stable rather than the excitement of an outing!!
